Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information IceSignal collects, why, and what you can do about it. IceSignal is operated by Cory Arnold, doing business as IceSignal, Iron River, Michigan. Questions: info@icesignal.net or 906-999-0265.
What we collect
- Contact and early-access forms: the name, email, phone number and message you type in.
- Purchases: payments are handled by Stripe on Stripe's checkout pages. We receive your name, email, billing country/ZIP, what you bought and the payment status. We never see or store your full card number.
- Website & AI Reports and services: the business website address you give us at checkout, plus anything you send us about your business.
- Cookies and the Meta Pixel: if enabled, our site uses the Meta (Facebook) Pixel and cookies to measure which ads lead to visits and purchases (for example: page views, checkout clicks, completed purchases). You can say "No thanks" on the cookie notice, and Meta also offers ad settings in your Facebook/Instagram account.
- Google Analytics: we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site (for example: pages viewed, device type, approximate location). It uses cookies and is not loaded if you say "No thanks" on the cookie notice. You can also use Google's opt-out browser add-on.
- Hosting logs: our host, Netlify, records standard technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and reliability.
- ICE SIGNAL Wi-Fi: to run the captive portal we record your device's MAC address, the access code used, connection times and the amount of data used, so we can apply your pass's time and data limits and keep the network fair. If you choose text alerts, we keep your phone number for that purpose. We do not inspect the content of your browsing.
How we use it
To deliver what you bought (Wi-Fi access, reports, Fix-Up work, monitoring), to answer you, to send receipts and service emails, to prevent fraud and abuse, to measure and improve our ads and website, and to meet legal and tax obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
- Stripe – payment processing, receipts, invoices and the subscription portal.
- Netlify – website hosting and the payment-code service.
- Meta – ad measurement through the Pixel (only if enabled and you haven't declined).
- Google – site usage analytics through Google Analytics (only if you haven't declined).
- Microsoft – our email (Outlook) used to send reports and reply to you.
- Authorities when required by law, or to protect our rights and users.
How long we keep it
Purchase and invoice records: as long as tax law requires (generally up to 7 years). Report and service files: up to 2 years after the work, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Wi-Fi usage records: up to 90 days after your pass ends. Form messages: until no longer needed. Hosting logs follow Netlify's retention.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or to stop marketing emails, by writing to info@icesignal.net. We'll respond within 30 days. Some records (like payments) must be kept for legal reasons. You can decline ad cookies on the cookie notice or clear your browser's cookies at any time.
Children
Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date above. Significant changes will be noted on this page.
