Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use icesignal.net, buy an IceSignal service, or use ICE SIGNAL Wi-Fi. IceSignal is operated by Cory Arnold, doing business as IceSignal, Iron River, Michigan (“IceSignal”, “we”). By buying or using our services you agree to these terms.

Website & AI Reports

• A report reviews the business website you give us and how it appears in search and AI assistants, with recommendations. It is informational only.
• We can't control Google, Bing, ChatGPT or any other search or AI service, so we don't guarantee any ranking, mention, traffic or sales result.
• We deliver the report by email within 2 business days of payment. Listed prices are starting prices; if your site needs more work than the listed scope, we'll tell you before charging anything extra.
• If we can't deliver your report, we'll refund you in full.

Fix-Up Package

• The Fix-Up Package starts with a $500 deposit. We confirm the scope and price with you before starting.
• The remaining balance is billed by Stripe invoice when the work is done, payable by the due date shown.
• Refunds: the deposit is fully refundable if you cancel before work starts. Once work has started, the deposit covers work already done and is not refundable.

AI Monitoring

• AI Monitoring is a month-to-month subscription ($99 or $199 per month), billed automatically by Stripe until you cancel.
• You can cancel anytime, change plans or update your card in the customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid month; we don't give partial-month refunds.

ICE SIGNAL Wi-Fi passes

• Paid passes are not on sale yet. The terms below apply once paid passes launch.
• ICE SIGNAL Wi-Fi is a pilot service provided on a best-effort basis. Coverage and speed depend on weather, ice conditions, power, the upstream internet connection and the number of users. We don't guarantee uptime or speed.
• Passes include data caps. Heavy use may be slowed under our fair-use rules, and service slows or stops when your data or time runs out. Top-ups add data.
• A pass's time starts when the code is first used. Single passes work on one device; Family passes on up to 4 devices that share time and data.
• Refunds: unused codes can be refunded on request. Once a code has been used, we don't give refunds, except when an outage on our side stops you from using a significant part of your pass. Email us your receipt and we'll make it right with a refund or credit.
• Acceptable use: no illegal activity, no attacks on or scanning of other devices or networks, no sending spam, no sharing or reselling codes beyond your pass's device limit, and no use that degrades the network for others. We may suspend access for violations without a refund.

Payments

Prices are in U.S. dollars. Payments are processed by Stripe; applicable taxes may be added. Chargebacks filed instead of contacting us first may result in suspended access.

Limits of liability

Our services are provided “as is.” To the extent the law allows, IceSignal isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service in question.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan. Any dispute will be handled in the courts serving Iron County, Michigan, unless the law requires otherwise.
